Jenneralm in Berchtesgaden

The food in the restaurant on the Jenneralm was very good. Then you can enjoy the view and drink coffee :)

The (understandably overpriced) food was delivered to us without cutlery. The waitresses then skilfully ignored us for 20 minutes until the food was cold. Then used it to feed the birds.

Not vegan friendly. No plant-based milk alternatives for coffee, no vegan dishes except that one of them is accidentally vegan. Staff is also not interested asking the kitchen for vegan options and is generally not interested in offering you an alternative. Wouldn't go there again.

Top modern facility, very busy when the weather is nice. Lots of space and great views. Around € 35 for an ascent and descent for an adult is average. The valley station offers plenty of parking spaces.

Delicious food in front of a great backdrop. The selection is large and the prices are okay. (The "journey" by cable car is very expensive, but that's not the issue here.) The restaurant is still new and modern, functional and yet cozy. The service is very quick, attentive and friendly. So if you are already there, you should not miss the visit.

Great spot for a lunch with a panorama and a really pleasant restaurant in summer and winter. Special mention for the breakfast with the panorama and the dawn. Great to start a nice walk.

The food was delicious and the prices were no more expensive than other comparable restaurants. The atmosphere is pleasant, the view is very nice. We were served quickly and in a friendly manner.

We were 10 people and were served excellently. Food delicious, drinks hot or optimally chilled. Fun with the waiters, everything very clean, great view, interesting documentation 'This is the top' !. All due respect for the number of guests and the long walking routes on the modern Jenneralm!

Great schnitzel, fantastic views!

Went to the Jenneralm on June 24th, 2020 in fantastic weather. Very nice location with a large sun terrace. Typical Bavarian and delicious hut delicacies. The prices are reasonable or as you know them from a hut / Alm. Service was friendly and quick. The view is terrific. After the gondola lift has been renewed, the ascent and descent at € 32 per person is no bargain.

Very nice restaurant to stock up on after a hike to the summit. Everything was clean and stylish, the service was friendly and quick, and the food was excellent and not overpriced despite the location. We had burgers and cool shandies, plus a delicious apple strudel. Everything was fresh and tasty, highly recommended!

Unfriendly staff who didn't want to serve us outside without giving a reason and we weren't allowed to take anything from inside to one of the tables outside. Immediately after we were informed of this with a whim that suggests that the gentleman always has to run up Jenner to work, he simply left us and devoted himself to other guests. This would have to be excused, if the booth had been full, but with 2 waiters 3 tables were occupied. In the steel house we were then looked after nicely!

Delicious food, breathtaking view. There are loungers where you can enjoy everything even better. Lunch was delicious, even if it took a long time to prepare. This was probably due to the fact that it was very nice weather and many tourists were present. Prices were reasonable for such a beautiful location. Can just be recommended.

Busy place, but we eventually found an outside table. Beautiful day and wonderful panorama. You eat well.

Delicious food and a beautiful view. The prices are reasonable and not overpriced, you can drink 2-3 more wheat beers. Even for non-athletes, it's a stone's throw from there to the summit, in 15 minutes you can be there. A trip is worth it. You can also go on other hikes from there.

Very nice place! Very modern decor and a great view. All dishes are homemade, even the sauce for the currywurst. Despite the special location, the food is freshly cooked here and the prices are very reasonable. There is no better way to recover after a strenuous hike!

Fantastic scenery! Staff very "uneven": outdoor staff very absent-minded close to being rude, indoor staff attentive and kind. Food OK.

Very modern furnishings - you immediately feel comfortable in the restaurant. Very friendly staff. The prices are very reasonable for the special location - the food was delicious. Gladly again!

You have an amazing view from the terrace! By the way, there is also something to eat here. The staff is really nimble and polite at work. Two beers are quickly at the table. There are blankets to keep you warm when the sun is no longer smiling. Newly opened restaurant. Everything was clean, modern and well maintained. However, also higher price range.

Great spot to relax in between a hike or skiing. The lift / dining area is very large and has stairs, ramp, and escalator to access the dining area. It also has a large bathroom area. The food was very good and the service was very fast and kind. We had food outside and got to enjoy the amazing views. If you’re lucky the reclining chairs will be available for you to enjoy a nap and beverage in between admiring the beautiful landscape. A must see!

One of the best spots to observe the great scenery of the region. One of the cheapest ones and fastest (you never wait for a cabin more than a minute).

At the top we visited a two-week open restaurant belonging to the funicular, you can find it in all the cableway stations, the restaurant is very elegant and I think that quite unnecessarily but why not very nice environment with a beautiful view of the valley. rent apartments. As I mentioned the restaurants here is not long therefore comparing the price with the size of the portion is great, we tasted 3 kinds of soups and drinks together we paid 20 €, the soups were excellent strong broths both beef and pork and goulash was more like goulash sauce but all the more she sowed, so the food was very good and we did not wait long, the staff is very friendly so I definitely recommend to go for something hot to eat after a successful hike .... chuť
